MIESNIEKS is an analog overdrive/distortion built for thick, powerful tones while keeping individual strings clear and defined.

It ranges from smooth overdrive to heavy distortion, with a wide tone control and two gain ranges for shaping everything from lower-gain crunch to saturated, heavy sounds.

MIESNIEKS means “Butcher” in Latvian.

• Skaļums – Sets the overall output level.
• Tonis – Shapes the overall tonal character, from darker and warmer to brighter and more cutting.
• Jauda – Controls the amount of overdrive/distortion.
• Gain Switch – Selects between two gain ranges.

Originally designed for electric guitar, MIESNIEKS also works great with bass and other instrument-level signal sources. You can hear both guitar and bass demos below.

Every MIESNIEKS is soldered, wired, assembled and tested by me in Latvia.

I use through-hole components, and each enclosure is individually hand-stamped using steel letter punches. Small variations in the lettering are part of the handmade character of each pedal.
