STAY STRANGE, RANDOM AND FULL OF DELAY NOISE

RNGD is a random noise-generating delay built for experimentation. It can move from unusual delay textures to unpredictable noise, oscillation and chaos. Combine it with other effects, turn the controls and see where it takes you.

Some settings may produce little or no sound — that's part of the experience. If that happens, try increasing Skaļums (Volume) or changing the other controls.

RNGD stands for Random Noise Generating Delay.

Don't speak Latvian? Don't worry.

  • Skaļums – Sets the overall output level.
  • Laiks – Controls the delay time.
  • Atkārto –  Controls the delay feedback.
  • Nogurt – Controls the amount of craziness.
  • Atbild -  Controls a different kind of craziness.
  • Switch 0/X - Turns the delay section on or off.
  • Switch < > - Adds more craziness.
  • Switch v^ - Adds even more craziness.

Originally designed for electric guitar, RNGD also works great with bass and other instrument-level signal sources. You can hear both guitar and bass demos below.

BUILT BY HAND IN LATVIA

Every RNGD is soldered, wired, assembled and tested by me in Latvia.

I use through-hole components, and each enclosure is individually hand-stamped using steel letter punches. Small variations in the lettering are part of the handmade character of each pedal.

Built one at a time — not mass-produced.
